C J Wilke

C.J. Wilke, 58, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Monday, June 8, 2026 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive.

C.J. was born Cleo Jane, on February 25, 1968 in Dalhart, Texas. She grew up in Dalhart and has lived in Amarillo for the past 30 years. She married her husband, John Wilke in September of 2010 in Amarillo. She worked for Amarillo College as a fitness instructor, a job that she was good at and enjoyed very much. She also worked for Downtown Women’s Center for a time. C.J. adored her puppy, Rascal. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by both her parents.

Survivors include her husband, John Wilke; a son, Austin of Dallas, TX; a daughter; a sister; and two brothers.
