Caden Brady Potts

Caden Brady Potts, 18, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Diversity Church, 5631 Pavillard Dr., with Pastor Mark England officiating. Burial will be at Llano East Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, May 18, 2026 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Caden was born March 26, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas to Michael and Misty Potts. He grew up in Amarillo and has been active at Diversity Church since he was a very young boy. He served on the offering team at the church. Caden completed his senior year at Caprock High School, and was to receive his diploma in May of this year. He worked at Cinergy as an usher.

In his spare time, Caden was a big sports fan; he especially liked basketball and football. He was also an avid video gamer. Caden was a funny guy and kept his family and friends laughing. He was polite and well-mannered. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Don Potts; and his uncle, Monte Potts.

Survivors include his mother, Misty Potts; his father, Michael Potts; his sisters, Brinkley Potts and Courtney Scott; and his grandparents, Johnnie Potts, Carole Hastings, and Johnny Scott.
