Calvin Eugene Askins

Calvin Eugene Askins, 69, of Amarillo, TX passed away on May 30, 2023 after a battle with cancer. Calvin was a resident of Amarillo his whole life working for T.D.C.J for over 27 years. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Jeena Askins. The two were married in Lubbock, TX in 1997. Having a relationship full of love most only dream of. Calvin and Jeena shared a blended family the oldest being Kris followed by Tyson, Amy, and Lacy. All children are grown having their own families blessing them with 7 grandchildren. Calvin enjoyed going out of town and playing chicken foot with his brother Robert and sister-in-law Roxie Askins. He had a heart of gold and a love for the Texas Rangers. Calvin will be missed by many.

Services are scheduled for Saturday June 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Followed by a burial at Llano Cemetery.
