Candi Vincent

Candi Renee Bernius Vincent died April 14th, 2025 in San Augustine, Texas . She was 62 years old. Candi had resided in Milam, Texas for the past 17 years. She was born July 24, 1962, in Pampa, Texas to Robert and Lucille Bernius. She had been married to Gary Vincent of Bridge City, Texas for 37 years at the time of her death.

Candi attended Caprock High School in Amarillo, Texas graduating in 1981. She was retired from the US post office in Milam, Texas where she had been employed as postmaster relief. She was a Seventh Day Adventist.

Candi loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing and restoring antique furniture. She was an avid Chicago Bear and Texas Tech Red Raider football fan.

Candi is survived by husband Gary, daughter Whittney Renee Saadeddine, son Jason Troy Vincent, stepson Aaron Jay “AJ” Vincent and stepdaughter Jessica Vincent. Also surviving are granddaughters Kaytlin Dawn Cancino, Kindell Mae Navarro and grandson Kash Mason Saadeddine, sister Sherri Bernius of Amarillo, Texas and brother Scott (Beverly) Bernius of Amarillo, Texas and grand dog Maleficent “Mal”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Shelbi Dawn Henk, brothers Bobby Duane Bernius and Bradley Dale Bernius Sr.  She was also preceded in death by her beloved and faithful dog “Buddy”.  She will be forever missed.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday April 25, 2025 at Llano cemetery in Amarillo, Texas with Bobby Lee Harris, pastor of Amarillo Seventh Day Adventist church officiating.  the Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday April 24, 2025 at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley funeral home.
