Candice Cay "Candi" Naylor

Candice Cay “Candi” Naylor, 70, of Fritch, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. The family will receive friends at a come & go Celebration of Life Gathering, which will be held from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Candi was born February 2, 1955 in Amarillo, Texas to W.D. “Dub” and Leota Jones. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1972. She married her husband, Rusty Naylor on May 10, 1997, and they enjoyed 28 years of marriage together. Candi was a devoted Mom to four kids, Denise, Shanna, Stephen and Jim. She made her career in the insurance business, first for Blue Cross Blue Shield for many years. In 1997, she opened her own agency, Naylor Insurance, which she ran for 28 years.

In her spare time, Candi enjoyed going to the mountains in the RV, and going on lake trips where she liked to waterski. She was a big movie buff, and especially enjoyed watching Hallmark Christmas movies. She was stern, but witty and fun to be around. Candi had a strong faith in the Lord and was a member of First Street Church in Dumas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her lifelong best friend, LaDonna Davis; and two great-grandbabies, Wesson and Russell.

Survivors include her husband, Rusty Naylor; two daughters, Denise Henson of Fritch, and Shanna McClellan of Dumas; two sons, Stephen Price of Dumas, and Jim Naylor (Tyla) of Amarillo; a brother, Byron Jones of Arkansas; 11 grandchildren, Jonathan Colby Srader (Molly), Jacob Habel (Jessica), Justin Habel (Mykayla), Alexis Habel, Joshua Habel (Kara), Joseph Habel (Cloei), Stephanie Franklin (Jessie), Kash Price, James Naylor, Cooper Naylor, and Andrew Naylor; and ten great-grandchildren, Kayden, Electra, Bryliegh, Emberlee, Kaine, Kylie, Rylee, A.J., Dakota and Birdie.
