Carl Avant

Mr. Avant was In the roof consulting and design business for many years. He loved raising cattle, hunting, fishing and working in his wood shop. He loved coffee. He is preceded in death by one son Terry Lynn Avant on October 9, 2005, step-son Donald Ray Kelley and one granddaughter Tanya Lynn Kennedy. Mr. Avant is survived by his wife Marlene: two sons; Carl Wayne Avant and his wife Stephanie, and Donald Ray Kelley; two daughters: Debbie Steinman and husband Brad of Canyon, and Sharon Qualls and her husband Rodney of Lexington, Texas. She is also survived by three sisters; Modena Green of Keller, Maxine McMurry of Crowley, and Carrol Sue Blackwell of Salado, Texas, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
