Carlota Flores Fabela

Carlota Flores Fabela, 72, of Amarillo passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and loved ones for visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2018 at the funeral home. Carlota was born November 4, 1946 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Antonio and Maria Flores. Carlota’s hobbies included reading, cooking and listening to music. She was a friend to everybody and never met a stranger. Carlota loved spending time with family, singing, dancing and especially nicknaming her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Carlota will be remembered as a beloved mom, sister, Tia LaLa and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Santos Flores, Raymond Flores and Antonio Flores Jr. Carlota is survived by two daughters, Barbara Cassandra Fabela and Christina Fabela and spouse Quincy Taylor; sisters, Janie Garcia and husband Jose and Margaret Flores-Elizardo; grandson, Gregory Anderson: her lil power ranger and girlfriend Lisa Baca; three granddaughters, Cassidy Jackson ,Karlandria Edwards and Kaleah Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews and great grand dog, Chief The family would like to thank the staff at Northwest Texas Hospital and Heritage Convalescent Center.
