Carol Jean Bolton, 80, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Carol was born on April 1, 1944, in Wardville, Oklahoma, to Raymond and Lois Latham. She married her husband, Larry Bolton, on October 4, 1962; together they celebrated over 62 years of marriage. Carol was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist church in Amarillo. She enjoyed camping and traveling in the family travel trailer during their free time. Carol would frequently crochet and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a dedicated Christian who loved the Lord. Carol was loved by many and will be missed.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Bolton of the home; one daughter, Karen Bolton; one son, Scott Bolton and wife Crissy, all of Amarillo; her sister, Kay Ewing and husband, Houston; two nephews, Allen Ewing (Janet) and Michael Ewing (Renee); three grandchildren, Weston Bolton (Kaitlyn), Reece Bolton (Michaela), all of Canyon, and Megan Edwards of Boyd; six great-grandchildren, Ryker, Blakely, Maddox, Bodee, Maysen, and Baylor. Survivors also include a host of extended family and close friends.
