Carol Ann Roberson

Carol was born on June 29, 1952 in Amarillo to Bill and Betty Young. She was raised in Amarillo, graduating from Tascosa High School in 1970. She married Steve Roberson on June 7, 1972 in Amarillo. Carol devoted her life to being a wife and a mother and caring for her family. She stayed home with her 2 daughters and was involved in the activities they participated in. She then joined her husband in 1996 in the family business, Elmo's Drive-in, which they purchased in 2000. Carol was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering her favorite driver, Kasey Kahne to victory. Most of all, she loved her family and cherished being "Nana" to her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Steve Roberson of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Michelle Castillo and husband Tony of Amarillo and Tiffany Packer and fiancé John Locascio of Cedar Park; mother, Betty Moore and husband "Dub" of Amarillo; 4 grandchildren, Cayden, Makenzie, Kolton and Brody; 3 sisters, Brenda LaGrone and husband Garre of Lubbock, Barbara Frank and husband Bill of Amarillo and Beverly Turner and husband Wendell of Amarillo and 3 Nephews, Chad Frank, Stephen Scott and Braden Turner. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Young.
