Carol Thompson

Carol Thompson, 71, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday November 26, 2021. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday December 02, 2021 at Cox-Rowley Funeral home with Rev. Tom Malone officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Carol was born on November 18, 1950 in Levelland to JB and Gladys Haskins. She worked all her life as a bookkeeper and loved her job. Carol was employed with Yellow House Machinery for twenty years. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed having her animals around her. No one loved animals more than Carol and she enjoyed spending time with her husband, Bill. They were married for nearly 47 years and built a beautiful life together. He was her world and she always made sure Bill was taken care of.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Thompson; three brother in laws, Lavoy Thompson and wife Charlotte of Alvin, Wayne Thompson and wife Teri of Runaway Bay and Steve Thompson and wife Becky of La Vernia. Survivors also include her eight nieces and nephews.
