Carolyn Bilderback

Carolyn Bilderback, 70, of Amarillo passed away on Saturday,September 2, 2017. Celebration of Life Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at The Loft Church with Pastor Matt Johnson officiating. Private family burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Cox Funeral Home. Carolyn was born on December 5, 1946 in Springdale, Arkansas to Doyl and Lorena Armstrong. She was raised in Springdale, where she graduated from high school in 1964. She married Cecil "Howard" Bilderback on January 15, 1966 in Springdale. Together they moved to Amarillo in 1969. Carolyn was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Howard Bilderback of Amarillo; 2 sons, Duane Bilderback and wife Rose and Doug Bilderback, all of Amarillo; sister, Vickie Viney and husband Chuck of Goshen, Ark; brother, Timothy Armstrong of Springdale, Ark; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Aaron, Jadon, Allyson and Brandie Bilderback and 3 great grandchildren, Aiden, Persephone and Azaelia. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rose Marie Jackson and her brother, Harvey Armstrong.
