Catarino C. Guerrero

Mr. Guerrero was born February 6, 1943 in Alice, Texas to Hilario and Clara Guerrero. He married Clara Casares on September 22, 1962. They were married for 55 years. She preceded him in death in February of this year. Catarino worked as a mechanic for Cato's Transmission. He was devoted to his church life, having served as pastor in several churches throughout his adult life. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Guerrero; his parents; and a brother, Joe Guerrero. Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Moreno and husband Victor of Amarillo; two sons, Larry Guerrero and wife Irma of Denton, and Steve Guerrero and wife Mary of Amarillo; a brother, Alex Guerrero and wife Rosalie of Kerrville; four sisters, Eva Gonzales and husband Roland of Amarillo, Cruz Paiz and husband Nash of Albuquerque, NM, Dora Ramirez of Tulsa, OK, and Lydia Guerrero of Amarillo; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be made to Fuente De Vida Church, 1401 N. Apache St. Amarillo, TX 79107.
