Christopher Scott Barclay, Lord Christopher Scott Barclay I, was born on December 5, 1967, at Ft. Benning, Georgia, to Donald Neil and Mary Elizabeth Barclay.
In his earliest days, he moved alongside his father's military assignments, later spending most of his life in Amarillo, Texas, with a brief stint in Ark City, Kansas. In both places, he formed lifelong friendships.
Family was important to Scott's life, including friends as part of his family. If Scott had something that someone he loved needed, it was always theirs without hesitation.
An intellectual at heart, Scott had a passion for nature, science, physics, cooking, history, music, animals, science fiction, and sharing general useless facts. He delighted in teaching and engaging others in meaningful conversations, making such exchanges a daily occurrence.
While he would have hated sharing this fact, Scott spoke Klingon, a detail too cool not to be remembered.
Scott will be greatly missed by so many. He is preceded in death by his father, Don Barclay, and his bonus father, Denny Pyse.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Barclay of Amarillo, TX. His children, Stephanie Burkhart of San Antonio, TX, Tarah Barclay of Brewer, ME, Conner Barclay of Amarillo, TX, and Keaghan Barclay of Amarillo, TX. His siblings, William Barclay of Amarillo, TX, Stephanie Barclay of Amarillo, TX, and Melanie Black, of Amarillo, TX. His nephews, Kingston Barclay-Villarreal and Atticus Barclay-Villarreal, both of Amarillo, TX. Many dear cousins. And his beloved Round Table of the Black, Cross, Bell, and Soper families.
In lieu of flowers, the family and Round Table ask that you do something kind for someone in LCSB1's memory.
