Christopher Michael Duffy

Christopher Michael Duffy, 38 of Amarillo died December 9, 2021.

A Celebration of Life Event will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022, at The Shop Event Center located at 1585 SE 58th in Amarillo.

Chris was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma on November 20, 1983, and was raised in Amarillo, Texas. He attended Bivins Elementary School, Austin Middle School, and Tascosa High School. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cynthia Williams and his brother, Matthew Joseph Duffy.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Neely Cotter of Lubbock, his parents Beki & Ty Lightfoot of Amarillo, brother Bobby Harvey of Gainesville, Florida, sister Briel Santana of New Jersey, sister Mandy Lightfoot of Utah, grandad, Craig Murray of Ardmore, Oklahoma, grandad, David Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Chris worked for his lifelong best friend, Justin Shepherd at Shepherd Concrete for a number of years and also helped Justin start and grow WTX Foundation Repair. Chris will be remembered for his mischievous smile, great hugs, and hard work. Chris had a special way of touching everyone’s life he knew and will always hold a place in our hearts.
