Clarence Seymour

August 13, 1926 — November 14, 2016

Clarence was born August 13, 1926 in Plainview to Reba and Albert Seymour. He served his country during World War II, earning many medals and commendations. He was very much a racing enthusiast. He loved car racing and motorcycles, even riding enduros till he was 78 years old. He was a master mechanic, a Ford man and enjoyed building hot rods. He was a Godly man with strong Christian values. He was also quite a dancer that loved doing the jitter bug. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, brother great grandfather, great great grandfather and friend. He liked going to the mountains and sharing his life with his wife LaNora, his teenage sweetheart. Together, they celebrated 55 years of marriage until she predeceased him in 2000. Also preceding him in death are, two sisters, Mildred Phillips and Betty Rusk and a great granddaughter, Keri Larson. He is survived by his children, Carol Honea and Gary Seymour both of Amarillo; grandchildren, Kimberly Maxwell and husband Andree, Leisa Kite and husband Chris all of Amarillo; Toni Howard and husband David, and Shelly Meyer all of Kansas; 8 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; his siblings, Jim Seymour and wife Jean of Claude, Kenneth Seymour and wife Francis, Doris Smith all of Canyon, Peggy Howard, Sue Boehning, Patti Killham and husband John all of Amarillo
