Clifford Ray Webb, 89, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday January 6, 2022. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday January 13, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 East I-40 in Amarillo with Pastor David Malone officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Clifford was born on March 23, 1932 in Amarillo to Loyd and Bertha Webb. He spent most of his life in Amarillo and was involved in the Maverick Boys club as a young man. Clifford joined the United States Airforce and proudly served his country for four years. He was involved in the Korean War and also served as medic on a military ship. Clifford was an advocate for sports and passed this onto his children; He enjoyed watching them play sports and playing golf himself. Clifford also loved to sing and was a devoted member of the Golden Spread Barbershop Chorus for many years. He was a prankster and enjoyed making those around him laugh. Clifford was well liked by all that knew him and he will be missed. He was a devoted Christian and a member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dean and Cloys Webb; sisters, Floy Franks and Barbara Greenberg; one son, Doug Webb; his first wife and mother to his children, Greta Webb; his second wife, Linda Webb.

Survivors include two sons, Kyle Webb of Amarillo and Jody Webb (Shelly) of Plano; one daughter, Lori Steele (Doug) of Bowie, Maryland; one brother, Dan Webb of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one stepson, Tolk Persons; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made to the Maverick Boys and Girls club Alumni Association, 3421 Heather Hills Drive, Garland, TX 75044.
