Cody Rogers, 40, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday October 18, 2024. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 PM Saturday November 2, 2024 at Family Life Church, 3900 SW 58th Ave. with Pastor Brandon Moore Officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
Cody Rogers, born on March 29, 1984, in Amarillo, Texas, to Kandy Heath and Tony Rogers, passed away surrounded by love and cherished memories. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 2002 and was known for his quiet nature and kind heart. As a child, Cody enjoyed fishing with his grandparents and developed a lifelong love for music, often attending concerts and spending time with his family. Cody deeply valued his bond with his cousins and shared countless memorable moments with them.
For the past two years, Cody worked diligently at Bubba’s 33 Restaurant, where he was a dedicated and respected employee. Outside of work, he cherished his time at home, embracing the peace it brought him.
Cody is preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Cheryl Rogers, Carol and Ruby Rogers, and his sister, Julieann Rogers.
He is survived by his mother, Kandy Heath, and her husband, Tommy; his longtime girlfriend, Denise Jimenez; his sister Breanna Heath; two aunts, Tracy Meyer and her partner Vincent Thaxton, Renee Lichtie and her husband Terry; his uncle, Johnny Rogers, and girlfriend Melissa Hunter, all of Amarillo. Cody also leaves behind seven cousins: Brandon Lichtie (Veronica), Shea Lichtie (Kristi), Kember Reed (Chris), Justin Parden (Rachael), Drustin Parden, Joshua Parden, and Blake Rogers, along with a large extended family and close friends who will deeply miss him.
Cody’s memory will live on through the love and fond memories shared by his family and friends. He will forever be remembered for his warmth, quiet strength, and the joy he brought to those around him.
