Concepcion Mata

Concepcion was born on July 15, 1955 in San Antonio. She was raised by her parents, Ray and Alice Esparza and Ernest Muniz. She married Tony Mata and was a devoted wife to him for over 31 years. She was a loving and caring mother and a great cook as well. She was generous and would give those in need the shirt off her back if requested. She was especially fond of the Christmas and loved getting her family together during the holidays. She will be forever remembered as the "bingo queen" by her friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Tony Mata; son, Toby Mata and wife Rosemary; 2 brothers, Emilio Esparza and Eddie Esparza, all of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Cynthia Bitela of Amarillo and Mayrene Aduddell of Stratford; father Ray Esparza of Canyon and a host of many other family members and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Esparza.
