Cookie Archibald

Cookie Archibald, 70, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday January 13, 2024. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Cookie was born on January 7, 1954 in Amarillo to William and Fay Plunkett. She graduated from Amarillo College with her nursing degree. Cookie worked as a nurse for 44 years and dedicated her life to helping those in need. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, feeding the birds and reading mystery novels. Cookie was a devoted Christian and could often be found reading her bible or a good bible study.

Cookie was loved by many and will be missed by a host of colleagues and friends.
