Corine Luckette

Corine Luckette, 91, of Amarillo passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018. There are no services scheduled at this time. Corine was born October 14, 1926 in Tampa, Florida to Eddie and Albertha Tucker. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir. Corine loved music and was an avid reader. She enjoyed cooking, looking out for her fellow neighbor and traveling the world. Corine will be remembered as a loving mom, grandmother and granny. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank Dr. J. Avery Rush and staff, Dr. Christopher A. Jones and staff, Cr. David Brister and staff, Dr. Douglas E. Lewis and staff, Dr. Esther Iheukwumere and staff, West Texas Physical Therapy and Jan Werner Adult Day Care. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a sister. Corine is survived by son, Billy Welch; daughter, Erica Luckette; grandchildren, Billy Welch Jr. (Doris), Yuri Luckette and Rochelle Brumfield (Eric) and children; a great-grandson, Damonte Clark and numerous family in Florida.
