Curtis W. Meckley

Curtis was born on October 7, 1958 in Amarillo to Ed and Ruby Lee Meckley. He was a member of the 1977 graduating class of Amarillo High School. After high school, he worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad for eighteen years. For the years that followed, he worked side by side with his father, sheetrocking. Curtis loved the outdoors, fishing and boating. He will be remembered for his big heart and always being there for friends in need. He will be dearly missed. He was a member of Coulter Road Baptist Church. Curtis is preceded in death by his mother Ruby Lee Meckley as well as his brother and best friend David E. Meckley. He is survived by his father, Ed Meckley, two sisters, Pam Meckley and Lori Merriman and her husband Todd all of Amarillo.
