Cynthia “Cindy” Wright, 64, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Memorial services will be at 1:30 PM on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Gospel Chapel of Amarillo, 1617 Hazel St.
Cindy was born July 7, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Russell and Shirley Wright. She worked for Pak A Sak for the last few years. In her spare time, she enjoyed working outside with flowers and traveling. Cindy was outspoken about her testimony, including a 29 year meth addiction. She was very proud of her 16 year sobriety. She supported Mothers Against Meth Alliance, and enjoyed creating and giving away handmade crosses, as a part of her testimony.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Randy Wright.
Survivors include her special friends, Robert Moya, Jenie Wilson, Pamela Hamill, and Dianna Cerda; two nephews; a niece; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her Pak A Sak family.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Mothers Against Meth Alliance, at www.mothersagainstmeth.org.
