Dale Wilson

Dale Wilson, 74, of Amarillo, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024. Celebration of Life services will be Tuesday February 20, 2024 at Trinity Fellowship Church Student Ministry Building, 5000 Hollywood Rd, with Pastor Kyle Wilkinson officiating.The family will receive friends on Monday February 19, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of Cox – Rowley Funeral Home.

Dale was born on August 10, 1949 in De Kalb Texas to Ovie and Barbara Ann Wilson. He attended Tascosa High school then continued his education at West Texas A&M. Dale married the love of his life, Connie in 1970 in Amarillo Texas; they had three daughters together. He enjoyed adventures with his family, taking them camping, snow and water skiing, boating, racing enduro Cross dirt bikes, and loving his family dogs. Dale had a fast personality, never interested in slowing down; He enjoyed being on the move. Throughout his life, Dale had all kinds of adventures, loved spending time in the mountains and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He was loved and will be missed.

Dale was preceded in death by his father, Ovie Wilson and both sets of his Grandparents.

Survivors include wife, Connie Wilson, of the home; three daughters, Deanna and Jeremey Wilks of San Antonio, Cindy and Daniel Alvarado of Denton, Donna and Cody Cagle of Amarillo; his mother, Barbara Ann Wilson; one brother, Thomas Ray and Kasech Wilson of Aledo Texas; five grandkids, Sheridan Key, Caleb Wilks, Caitlyn and Lalo Leyva, Kenzie Cagle and Rebekah Wilks; two great–grandchildren, Piper Key and Walker Key; Survivors also include a host of many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
