Dana McMillan

Dana McMillan, 77, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Services will be held at a later date.

Dana was born August 28, 1948 in Clarendon, Texas to Gar and Pearl Gibson. She graduated from Clarendon high School. She made her career as an operator at Southwestern Bell Telephone, later AT&T, for over 40 years. In her spare time, Dana enjoyed sewing and crafting. She was a wonderful cook and loved to throw a great party. She was a talented piano player as well. But most of all, Dana adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry McMillan; and two sons, Kelly Thrasher and Charles Thrasher.

Survivors include two daughters, Audra Coborn and Kim Lynch; two sons, Brian McMillan and Keith McMillan; 12 grandchildren, Kilee Thrasher, Justin Phillips, Brian McMillan, Keifer Thrasher, Courtney Solano, Megan Solano, Erika Solano, Colbee Thrasher, Lexi McMillan, Stratton Coborn, Syda Coborn and Jake Lynch; and many great-grandchildren.
