Daniel was born on November 28, 1965 in Lompoc, CA to Ricardo Sr. and Margarita Carreon. He graduated from Fort Stockton High School before joining the United States Army, where he proudly served until his honorable discharge after 3 years of service. He attended Sul Ross University and was currently furthering his education at Wayland Baptist University. He worked for Panhandle Workforce for many years prior to his employment as a benefits advisor for the Amarillo Thomas Creek VAMC, where he has worked for the last 5 years.
Daniel married Delia Baca in 2006 in Fort Stockton, successfully blending 2 families together. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and adored his dog, Julius. Daniel enjoyed spending his free time with family and playing his guitar. He and Delia attended Trinity Fellowship Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Delia Carreon of Amarillo; 3 daughters, Tessa Carreon of Amarillo, Lisa Baca and significant other Greg Anderson of Lewisville and DeRecca Hernandez and husband Raul III of Odessa; 3 sons, Nicholas Carreon of Amarillo; Christopher Sprague of Amarillo and Ronald Baca II and significant other April Hignojos of Ft. Stockton; mother and father Margarita and Juan Perez of Oceanside, CA; 2 sisters, Romelia Casas and husband Louie of Midland and Angie Carreon of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Ricardo Carreon Jr. and wife Lisa Tarango of Ft. Stockton and Tony Carreon and significant other Jon Miller of Gardendale and 7 grandchildren and 1 grandchild on the way, as well as an abundance of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Ricardo Carreon Sr.
