Dave Hernandez

Dave was born on January 26, 1943 in Amarillo to Ignacio and Pauline Hernandez. He worked for Amarillo Building Products for over 25 years, retiring at the age of 58. Dave was married to Nancy Wells for over 20 years. They remained close throughout their lifetime. He was an exceptionally talented musician, playing guitar and singing at Pancho's Restaurant and even producing his own record album. He is survived by his daughter, Davie Ann Blankenburg and husband James of Amarillo; sister, Dorothy Darnell and husband Richard of Amarillo; brother, Ronny Hernandez of Amarillo; 8 grandchildren, Daniel, Bryan, Joshua, Rebecca, Kristen, Nathan, Samuel and Jenna and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Felix and Leroy Hernandez.
