David "Ssonny" Dudley

David was born on October 19, 1949 in Amarillo to Billy and Nina Dudley. He was raised in Amarillo, before moving to Houston, where he spent 6 years. In 1974, he moved back to Amarillo, where he later married Rosie Book on October 2, 1993. She preceded him in death on December 1, 2011. David owned and operated Specialty Services Inc. of over 20 years here in Amarillo. He was an avid music lover and a talented bass and guitar player. He has been a devoted member of Pinnacle Community Church for over 10 years and served in their worship band for many years. David also volunteered in the Kairos Ministry of Dalhart for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife Rosie Dudley. He is survived by his daughter, Heather Wiseman and husband Kevin; son, Jason Book; daughter, Laila Book; sister, Georgia Kirk and 4 grandchildren, Zane Wiseman, Brianna Book, Taylor Bryant and Ryan Hutton, all of Amarillo.
