David Milton Landis

David was born February 7, 1925 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to Ruth and David H. (Tom) Landis. He proudly served his country in WWII with the 8th Air Force. On August 20, 1949 he married Faye Burch in Ada, Oklahoma. He was a longtime New Mexico resident who had a love of flying and hunting. He was a deeply caring family man and was involved in his church. David retired from the FAA. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He is survived by his children, Susan Elkins and husband William S. of Tesuque, NM, Sarah Galyon and husband Robert A. of Irving, Rebecca Perkins and husband Ricky T. of Amarillo, David A. Landis and wife Lucy of Perryton, and Kurt M. Landis and wife Pamela of Canyon; also surviving him are 10 grandchildren, 13.75 great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Joene Casey and Fern Sahmaunt of Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews.
