David Joseph Lavigne

October 17, 1960 — March 31, 2015

David was born on October 17, 1960 in Delhi, Louisiana. He moved to Amarillo as a child, where he graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1979. He married Bonnie Smith on December 12, 1999 in Amarillo. David proudly worked as a police officer here in Amarillo for over 14 years until 2000. He then worked for Haliburton, where he was currently employed and had worked for 7 years. He was an avid hunter and an avid Oklahoma University fan. His family and friends would say he was very funny and always had a joke or witty remark for any situation. Most of all, David loved his family and loved time spent with them.
