David H. St. Clair, 68, of Amarillo, died Sunday, April 22, 2018. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at Palo Duro Cowboy Church, 12200 Hwy 60 with Pastor James Gilbert and Pastor Tadd Mann officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Dr. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. David was born June 15, 1949 in Presidio to John T. and Virginia St. Clair. He graduated from high school in Albuquerque, NM, and earned his associate degree from Washington State. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-1971. David and April have lived in Amarillo since the early 1980's. He was vice president of operations at Lake Steel for 15 years. He has owned and operated Rafter Cross Homes, L.L.C. since 2000. David loved the Lord Jesus. He was an active member of Palo Duro Cowboy Church. David was fun-loving and a jack of all trades. He was confident man with a very gregarious personality. David was solid, with strong character and integrity. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. David was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Roland St. Clair. Survivors include his wife, April St. Clair of Amarillo; two sons, Bob St. Clair of Amarillo, and Parker St. Clair of Austin; a brother, Earl St. Clair of Mount Lake Terrace, WA, a sister, Ginger Jameson of Ramah, CO; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Carol Carden; and two grandchildren, Makenna and Cree. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the children's ministry at Palo Duro Cowboy Church, PO Box 1330, Canyon, TX 79015.
