Dawanna Belt

Dawanna “Peanut” Belt, 66, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019. There are no services scheduled at this time. Dawanna was born September 25, 1952 in Paducah, Kentucky to Burnett and Glynda Belt. She graduated from high school in Kentucky. She moved to Amarillo in the early 1980’s. Dawanna worked for Coffee Memorial Blood Center for more than 30 years, retiring in 2014. She enjoyed fishing and travelling. Dawanna always liked helping people without them even knowing. She adored her dogs throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Dawanna was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Troy Belt. Survivors include a sister, Darla Farris of Kentucky; a brother, Robert Belt of Kentucky; her Aunt Mary; a niece, Brandi Farris; a nephew, Daniel Farris; a great-nephew, Zach; and close friends, Mary McKee and Cynthia Griffith.
