Dayle R. Mcgimpsey

Dayle was born December 29, 1944 in East Moline, IL. He married Rosalie Genoway in Paramount, CA on May 18, 1963, and together shared over 50 years of marriage before she predeceased him August 1, 2014. In 1970, they moved the family to Lampasas, then on to Amarillo in the mid 1990's. He served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged. His hobbies included watching tv, camping, travelling and of course, watching his favorite movie, "Thunder Road". He is preceded in death by not only his wife, but also his parents and a brother, John. He is survived by his sons, Dayle R. McGimpsey, Jr. and wife Toni of San Angelo and Deon McGimpsey and wife Julie of Amarillo; 4 grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua McGimpsey and Colt McGimpsey and Allison MacDonald.
