Debra Annette "Debi" Moore

February 4, 1958 — November 12, 2020

Amarillo

Debra “Debi” Annette Moore, 62, of Amarillo passed away peacefully on November 12, 2020, in Amarillo with her husband Ronnie and daughter Haylee by her side. Celebration of Life services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, November 20, 2020, at Journey Church, 9711 FM 2186 with Dr. Sheldon DeVries officiating. The memorial service will be live streamed and a link will be provided so that those who are unable to attend in person will be able to view the service. Debi was born February 4, 1958, in Amarillo to Haskell and Murriel Holdaway. She graduated from Caprock High school and married her sweetheart Ronnie Moore on June 15, 1991. Debi became a cosmetologist at the age of 18 and loved this profession. She owned her own shop “Back to Nature” and was a hard worker. Debi loved to travel especially to places like California and Tennessee. She really loved her family and cared deeply for her friends; she was a social butterfly and had many close friends. Debi was a mother to everyone she came in contact with and was always willing to listen to those that needed her. She was a strong person in her home and community but most of all in her faith. She loved Jesus and was dedicated to him. Debi could light up a room with her presence, and she brought great joy to everyone whom she came in contact. If you knew Debi you loved having her around. Debi was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Moore of the home; two daughters, Haylee DeVries and husband Sheldon of Amarillo and Jennifer Daffern and husband Rodney of Sunray; three grandchildren, Parker Garmany, Ella DeVries and Emry DeVries; two brothers, David Holdaway and his wife LeAnne of Long beach California and Mike Holdaway of Amarillo; three nieces, Jamie, Cortney and Elizabeth; one nephew, Jon. Survivors also include a host of many close friends and her Welsh terrier, Lucy. Debi was a breast cancer survivor and a devoted Christian. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd. Amarillo, TX 79106 or to Journey Church, 9711 FM2186, Amarillo, TX 79119. Out of respect for the family, we request that all who attend the service wear a mask.
