Debra Ann Erickson

August 28, 1959 — June 27, 2015

Debra was born on August 28, 1959 in Odessa to Wayne and Patricia Hodges. She moved frequently throughout her life, settling in Amarillo in 1997. She attended West Texas A&M University, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and Psychology. Debra worked in many trades throughout her life, including: catering and driving a catering truck, working as a book keeper and as a graphic artist for Amarillo Globe News. Debra had a kind heart and lovingly volunteered for Stephen's Ministries at her church, helping many people needing long term care. She married Earl Robert Erickson on May 20, 2005. She enjoyed crocheting, but most of all, she enjoyed time with her family. She loved to bowl with her kids and even broke a score of 200 on one occasion. She is survived by her husband, Earl Erickson of Amarillo; father, Wayne Hodges and wife Joyce of Alvarado; 2 sons, Micah Nash Jr. and wife Ami and Seth Nash and wife Jessica; daughter, Amberlee Danley and husband Kenneth; 2 step daughters, Jessica and Sarah Erickson, all of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Milo Hodges and wife Georgia of Amarillo and Dennis Hodges of Alvarado; sister, Sondra Kiggins and 8 grandchildren, Haleigh Nash, Riley Danley, Taylor Danley, Rien Nash, Christian Nash, Koby Danley, Talon Nash and Canon Nash, all of Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her mother.
