Debra Marie Shelton

Debra Marie Shelton, 63, of Dumas, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Cox Funeral Home- Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. with Pastor Damon Akins of First Assembly of God Church in Dumas officiating. Debra was born February 16, 1954 in Dumas to Kermit and Myrtle Eslinger. She attended Dumas High School. She married Carl Shelton on October 7, 1985 in Dumas. Debra was a talented painter, and loved crafting. She enjoyed collecting rabbits and apples. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Dumas. She was preceded in death by her father, Kermit Eslinger. Survivors include her husband, Carl Shelton of Dumas; a daughter, Brandie Portee and husband Frederick of Lubbock; three sons, Randal Lancaster and wife Robin of Amarillo, Jordan Shelton and Kaylie Romero of Sunray, and Jacob Shelton and Lacie Farmer of Dallas; her mother, Myrtle Eslinger of Amarillo; two sisters, Marlene Wagner of Amarillo, and Arlene Arnold of Hereford; a brother, Kelly Eslinger of Amarillo; and 13 grandchildren.
