Debra "Debbie" Webster, 74, of Amarillo, passed away on July 16, 2026.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 20, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive, Amarillo, Texas 79109. A Celebration of Debbie's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Oasis Church Amarillo, 8201 Canyon Drive, Amarillo, Texas 79110, with Pastor Bradley Spears officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Debbie was born on March 4, 1952, in Borger, Texas, to Harold and Betty Packebush. She attended Sanford-Fritch High School and married Billy Joe Webster on March 9, 1979. Together they shared 47 years of marriage.
For 25 years, Debbie worked as a home health care technician with BSA Hospice of the Southwest. She genuinely cared for her patients and found purpose in helping others during some of life's hardest moments.
She enjoyed quilting, caring for her roses and flowers, and collecting angels. More than anything, Debbie loved her family. She was a devoted wife and a caring mother who made time for her children no matter what. When her daughter, Chanda, traveled for work, Debbie never hesitated to answer the phone, even in the middle of the night, and the two could talk for hours. Her son, Johnathan, worked on the railroad and would blow the train horn as he passed the house just to let his mom know he was thinking of her. It was a simple tradition that meant a great deal to both of them. Debbie would do anything for her children and for Billy Joe, and they always knew they could count on her.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Webster of Amarillo; daughter, Chanda Francis of Amarillo; granddaughters, Veda Karsh and husband, Brock, and McKenzie Meeks and husband, Seth, of Lubbock; grandson, Joshua Collins and wife, McKinsey, of Yukon, Oklahoma; 3 great-grandchildren; along with many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Betty Packebush; her son, Johnathan Collins; her brother, John Packebush; and her son-in-law, Rick Francis.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to BSA Hospice of the Southwest in Debbie's memory.
