Derick Micah Arnett

Derick Micah Arnett, 33, of Amarillo, died Thursday, June 28, 2018. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. Burial will be at Llano East Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Derick was born August 27, 1984 in Weatherford, Okla. to Michael and Kelly Arnett. He graduated from Tascosa High School. He married Denise Villegas on April 20, 2011 in Arapaho, Okla. He worked for Deluxe Detail in Oklahoma, and also owned and operated Derick's Detail. After recently moving to Amarillo, he worked for Brazil Painting. Derick was an excellent auto detailer and painter. He was a talented musician, and loved playing guitar. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Derick adored his daughter, Dallas, more than anything. He was the best protector and provider. Derick was the rock for the family, and always cared for others. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Denise Arnett of Amarillo; his daughter, Dallas Arnett of Amarillo; his mother, Kelly Arnett of Weatherford, OK; his father, Michael Arnett of Amarillo; a brother, Toby Arnett and wife Tiffany of Burns Flat, OK; a sister, Desiree Arnett of Weatherford, OK; a niece, Lola; and a nephew, Landen.
