Diane was our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched.  She was born on April 28th, 1943 in Amherst, Texas to Terrel and Lou Elliott and passed away on November 25, 2020. She married her first and only love, Carroll Elliott, in September of 1960.

Diane loved to love on people, especially babies!  Mom also showed her love with food, she was famous for her chocolate cake every birthday, dressing every Thanksgiving and Christmas, and who could ever forget her sandwiches & fudge.  Mom could put a diabetic in a coma with her sweets!

For many years Diane worked in the Day Care industry. It suited her servant heart!  Babies were her specialty! (she could change a diaper faster than a NASCAR pit crew could change a tire!)

Her life was a living example of Ephesian 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

She was a dedicated mother and grandmother first and foremost.  She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them.  She especially loved her role as Grandma.  Mom was so generous; she gave her all and yet she always felt as if it cost her nothing.

Diane is survived by her three children, Carol Toler, Caprice Miller, Kelly Elliott (Jill). Nine grandchildren:  Carlee, Tyson, Leslee, Joshua, Sara, Karsen, Kollin, Kade & Kolsen.  Fourteen great grandchildren: Michelle, Mariah, McKenzee, Gus, Jordan, Tyson, Parker, Madison, Chevy, Shelby, Silas, Leighton, Lennon, and Lane.  One great, great grandchild: Macstyn! She is also survived by two sisters, Donna Parker (Bert) and Debbie Vaughn (Monty)

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Carroll (Papa), her parents Terrel and Lou and one brother Dickey.
