Dianna Lane Daniel McLain, 61. Heaven received an angel on May 18, 2014. Celebration of life funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 at Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Martin officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Cox Funeral Home. Dianna was born on November 28, 1952 in Wellington. She attended school in Amarillo, graduating from Tascosa High School in 1971. Dianna was a loyal friend to many. She never met a stranger and kept close friends for a lifetime. Most of all, Dianna loved the Lord and her family. She was a devoted mother and a proud Nanny to her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include son, Daniel Helsey of Amarillo; mother, LaFerne Ball and father by marriage, Slade Ball of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Debbie Breitling and husband Darrell of McKinney and Dana Dean of Amarillo; brother, Tracy Ball and wife Teresa of Amarillo; sister-in-Christ, Vickie Buchanan; grandchildren, Darian, Zandria, Tristin of Amarillo, Kaden and Daemon of Oklahoma; grandfather, Robert E. Johnson and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly. Preceded in death by her father, Glen R. Daniel; grandmothers, Mamie Johnson and Lola B. Daniel and grandfather, Luther Thompson.
