Dollie Hunter, 82, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive, with Randy Lancaster officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Dollie was born August 3, 1937 in Longview, Texas to Guy and Bernice Bolt. She graduated from Dumas High School. Dollie dedicated her life to caring for her family, and she excelled at it. She kept a spotless home and loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved listening to music, especially Conway Twitty. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard Lancaster; and two sisters, Marilyn Spano and Millie Darnell. Survivors include James Lancaster and wife Lee of Houston, and Robert Lancaster and wife Brenda of Thompson, GA; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
