Dolores Villarreal

Dolores was born on January 5, 1952 in Asherton to Pedro and Maria Vallejos. She moved to Floydada as a child, where she was raised and attended school. She married Eloy E. Villarreal Sr. on June 21, 1969 in Floydada. They moved to Oregon, then Lubbock before settling in Amarillo in 1976. Dolores was a talented seamstress,She was always busy making custom drapes, quilts and home decor, which can be found throughout Amarillo. She was most passionate about making clothing and costumes for her kids and grandkids. She worked for Virgie's Custom Design for many years as well as for Gwyn's Shade and Drapery. Most of all, Dolores loved her family. She enjoyed playing board games and card games as often as possible with her family and loved to visit with her many friends. She is survived by her husband, Eloy Villarreal, Sr. of Amarillo; 2 sons, Eloy Villarreal, Jr. and spouse, David Vaculin of Round Rock and Tim Villarreal of Amarillo; daughter, April Smith and husband Mike of Amarillo; brother, Pedro Vallejo and wife Molly of Floydada; 3 sisters, Lupe Stewart of Floydada, Anita Navarro and Paula Quintinilla and husband Albert, all of Amarillo; grandchildren, Bretton "Mijo", Braydon "Guero", Carly "Carlita", Kyle "Mi Kyle", Abigail, Sarah "Sarita", Autumn "Prettys", Keaton "Papis" and Kay Lynn "Sissy", all of Amarillo and her beloved dog, Judy Garland. She is preceded in death by her Parents, brother, Manuel Vallejo; 2 infant siblings and Son, Greg Villarreal in 2015
