Don Quentin Potts

Don Quentin Potts 81, of Amarillo passed away February 6, 2022. Funeral service will be Monday, February 14, 2022 at 10 am at Diversity Church with Pastor Mark England officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery with Military Honors provided by Volleys for Veterans. Don was born December 31,1941 in Borger, Texas to William and Dorothy Greenway Potts. After graduating high school he proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He was a Marine through and through. "Once A Marine, Always A Marine".  He meet his soulmate Johnnie Lemons and they married on October 22, 1967. They raised two wonderful sons. Don loved his family and loved his country. His family was very important t him. He was a kind man who knew and loved everyone, never meeting a stranger. He was always there to lend a helping hand to any and everyone. He will be deeply missed.

Don is preceded in death by his parents and his son Monte.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Johnnie Potts; his son Michael Potts and a sister Maedean Geoffroy. Three grandchildren: Caden Potts, Brinkley Potts and Courtney Scott along with many loving family and friends.
