Donna was born on March 18 1953 in Lamesa, Texas to Tommie and Cecil Hanson. She graduated from Lamesa High School. She moved to Amarillo where she attended college. She worked in the Graphic Arts and Printing department at Affiliated Foods for many years, where she provided advertising through many forms of print creations. She was a devoted sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She was an extraordinary woman with a kind, caring, and fun loving personality. She was a dedicated Cowboys fan, a great cook, and beloved travel companion. She had a great passion for serving her family and friends. Generous with her time and resources, she touched many lives and instilled in all of us the importance taking care of one another. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her sister Glenna Easley and husband Don Lowry of Waco; brother Ray Hanson and wife Sherry Hanson of Amarillo; brother David Hanson of Waco; 3 nieces Kimberly Irving whom she shared a birthday with and husband Gabe, Melissa Hanson Lanquist and husband Daniel, and Heather Barajas and husband Eddie, and her great niece Annabel Lee Irving whom she shared a middle name with, and her great nephew Hanson Irving, and many close friends whom she loved dearly.
