Donna Jean Tate

Donna Jean Tate, 67, formerly of Arkansas City, KS died Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Memorial services will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, 100 E. Kansas Ave. in Arkansas City, Kansas. Donna was born June 12, 1950 in Wellington, Kansas to Albert and Beulah Logan. She graduated from John H. Francis Polytechnic High School in Sun Valley, Calif. She worked for Dillon's Food Stores in Arkansas City and Winfield, Kansas. Before retiring in 2015, she worked for 7 Clans First Council Casino in Newkirk, Okla. She moved to Amarillo in 2016. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed gardening, photography, and playing bingo. She especially loved spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two sons, Roy Tate and wife Emily Leptich of Seattle, Wash., and Matthew Tate and wife Brittany of Amarillo; three sisters, Judy Boyd, and Trudy Sturcke and husband Bill all of Ponca City, OK, and Betty Jackson and husband Charles of Apple Valley, CA; and two grandchildren.
