Doris Eulaine Pitt

Doris was born on December 24, 1927 in Rosebud to Wilford and Georgia Hilliard. She married Elwood "Woody" Pitt in 1944. Together they settled in Amarillo more than 50 years ago. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1990. She devoted her life to taking care of her family and was a devoted member of Family Life Church in Amarillo. She is survived by her sons, Ronald Pitt and wife Jackie of Amarillo and Danny Pitt and wife Fran of Florida; her daughter/ niece, Candy Bass and husband Jackie of Amarillo; brother, Wayne Hilliard of Georgia; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elwood "Woody" Pitt and her brother, G.W. "Buddy" Hilliard.
