Dorothy Shawhart 86 of Amarillo passed away March 19, 2019. She was born March 19, 1933 to Jack and Nettie Bohannon in Springdale, Arkansas. In 1950 she was married to Bill Shawhart. They had 62 years together. Dorothy enjoyed antiques and she enjoyed going to Las Vegas to play the slot machines.

She is survived by son Don (Darlene) Shawhart, daughter Aline (Joe) Gutierrez of Amarillo and daughter Linda (Rogers) Hester of Allen, TX.

4 sisters and 3 brothers Artie, Gladys, Argie, Otis, Cora, Roy, Everett.

Grandchildren Sherelle (Ken) Wanderscheid of Goldendale, WA, Lisa (Gary) Machado of Carrollton, TX, Misty (Mark) Lindsey, of Amarillo, Shayla (Stephen) Spisak of McKinney, Greg Shawhart of Amarillo.

5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
