Ed Walker

Ed was born on January 19, 1953 in Amarillo to James and Joyce Walker. He was raised here in Amarillo, where he married Patricia Lucas on May 8, 1976. He worked as a truck driver most of his life and was currently employed with Lonestar Milk Transportation, where he has worked for over 10 years. He had a great passion for horseracing and raised and raced them for a big part of his life. Ed loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He supported all of their activities, including motocross, where he traveled to all of their races and enthusiastically encouraged them. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Walker; 2 daughters, Ann Van Tassel and husband Garry and Christina Miller and husband David, all of Umbarger; 4 brothers, Gary Walker and wife Peggy of Amarillo, Kenneth Walker and wife Sabrina of Fritch, William Walker of Amarillo and Dennis Walker and wife Leanne of Fritch and 6 grandchildren, Mariah, Brandon, Anthony, Jacob, Brianna and Caitlin and one grandchild on the way, Brinlee.
