Edna Pauline Hite Stone

Edna Pauline Hite Stone, 88, of Amarillo died on Friday, January 26, 2018. Memorial service will be held Monday, January 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Pinnacle Community Church, 7200 Arden Road with Paster Kurt Oheim officiating. Edna was born November 28, 1929 in Scott City, Kansas to Max and Anna Hite. Edna married Clyde Stone on August 25, 1967. They were married for 11 years until his death in March of 1979. Edna's hobbies included gardening, quilting, taking care of her chickens and her beloved cats. She worked as a lab technician for Dr. Stout and Dr. Cotton for 30 years. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Dorothy Hite and Mabel Beach. Edna is survived by her sons, Frank Palmer Jr., Dan Palmer and wife Sally all of Amarillo; a daughter, Brittany Anne Palmer of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Tony Palmer and wife Carrie of Denton, Veronica Palmer of Amarillo, Matthew Palmer and wife Kason of The U.S. Air Force, Joshua Palmer of Spokane, Washington, Tanner Palmer of Amarillo; five great-grandchildren, Zachery, Corissa, Xzondra, Ayden, and Elizabeth Ann.
