Efren Lopez, 56, of Amarillo, passed into the arms of Jesus on December 21, 2020 at his home in Amarillo with his wife and family at his side. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday December 26, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in White Deer with Father Hrubaya Raju Kondamudi presiding. Rosary service will be 6:00 PM Wednesday December 23, 2020 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Efren was born February 28, 1964 in Pampa to Fidel and Rosa Lopez. He graduated from Dumas High School in 1982. Efren married his sweetheart Brandi on May 19, 2007 in Amarillo, they spend many wonderful years together. He worked for the City of Dumas for eight years before moving to Amarillo and worked five years for the City of Amarillo. He was a dedicated and hard worker. Efren enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed gardening, both flowers and vegetables. Efren loved the game of football and was a diehard Texas Longhorns fan. He loved his family dearly, and he will be missed. Efren was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca and one niece, Jackie Lopez. Survivors include his wife Brandi Lopez of the home; his mother and father, Fidel and Rosa Lopez of Dumas; mother and father in law, Jimmy and Peggy McNutt of Amarillo; two sisters, Elizabeth Ragon and husband James and Cindy Dodich and husband Robert both of Amarillo; two brothers, Michael Lopez of Dumas and Fidel “Fifi” Lopez and his wife Heather of Bountiful, Utah; one brother in law, Brent McNutt of Amarillo; nieces and nephews, Tim Ragon, Greg Ragon, Josh Ragon, Erik Ragon, Kasondra Bela, Brandon Navaraez, Tami Garcia, Rashonda Pena, Micaela Rodriguez, Jade Lopez, Shae Lopez, Spencer Lopez and Kaden Lopez; 14 great nieces and nephews.
