Elizabeth Ann Lafaver

September 26, 1937 — March 23, 2016

Elizabeth Ann was born in Rusk, Texas on September 26, 1937 to Reid and Elizabeth Jones. Her dad was County Commissioner at Rusk and her mother was a homemaker. Elizabeth Ann attended college in Houston and earned a degree as a Registered Nurse from Lillie Jollie School of Nursing. She practiced her profession in Jacksonville, Texas until, she met her husband in 1964. After they married she became a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and also helped her husband in his Veterinary practice. Elizabeth Ann first of all loved the Lord, but also deeply loved her husband, Jack, of 51 years, her special daughters Jill Tolley and Kim LaFaver, her wonderful son-in-law, Joe Tolley and her very special grandsons Dillan and Dawson Tolley. On March 23, 2016, Jesus called the name of Elizabeth Ann LaFaver, where she was taken to heaven to be with her heavenly father. Elizabeth was a Christian, a Baptist, and a member of Paramount Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Reid and Elizabeth Jones; mother and father In-Law, Thyra and Roy LaFaver; Brother Bill Jones; sister Marian Goolsbee. Survivors include her husband, Jack LaFaver; two daughters, Kim LaFaver and Jill Tolley; son-in-law Joe Tolley; two grandsons, Dillan and Dawson Tolley; two sisters-in-law, Flora LaFaver and Patsy Calkins; and by a brother-in-law Dr. Dick Calkins.
